Get a head start on 2017 performance appraisals

While performance management happens all year long with regular conversations between you and your supervisor, now is the time to capture information about your contributions and accomplishments in Halogen.

Got positive feedback? Enter a journal note in Halogen, along with any work notes, to share with your supervisor during ongoing performance conversations. Also be sure to copy these notes to your self-appraisal when the time comes.

Got work expectations? Take a few minutes to make sure you have work expectations entered in 2017. Check the “My Performance” tab in Halogen and look under “Work Expectations.”

Supervisors

Get a head start and don’t wait until the end of the year and performance appraisal time. Start by checking your “My Employees” tab to ensure you see the correct list of direct reports and that each direct report has entered work expectations during 2017.

Now is a great time to review this information and talk to your employees. If you have questions about your direct reports, please contact your HRIS representative (found in COMET-HR under “Department Contacts”).
