Chief Financial Officer Mark Ruff receives CFO of the Year award
The Business Journal is honoring 22 financial executives with 2017 CFO of the Year awards in nine categories. Mark Ruff, the City’s chief financial officer, is being honored in the Government CFO category. Ruff joined the City in 2016 after more than 25 years in public finance in Minnesota working as a consultant with Ehlers Companies for large and small cities and counties.
The CFO of the Year awards honor outstanding financial leaders at Twin Cities organizations large and small. Nominees are evaluated by a panel consisting of other financial executives, who scored them on their contributions to the organization and the community. All 2017 honorees will be recognized at a Nov. 9 luncheon and profiled in a special publication the next day.
