Take part in the #WeAreMpls campaign by adding a frame to your Facebook profile picture

Facebook users can now add a #WeAreMpls frame effect to their profile pictures to show support and raise awareness for the campaign. The frame features the campaign’s hashtag and City logo.

How do I add the frame to my photo?

You can add the frame directly from the City’s Facebook page or:

  1. Go to www.facebook.com/profilepicframes and search for “Minneapolis.”
  2. Select the #WeAreMpls frame by City of Minneapolis Government from the menu.
  3. Click “Use as Profile Picture” to save.

You can also get involved with the campaign by sharing your photos and stories on social media using the hashtag #WeAreMpls.

What is #WeAreMpls?

#WeAreMpls is a public awareness campaign, elevating some of the thousands of authentic stories of the residents of Minneapolis. The campaign reaffirms the City’s commitment to be a welcoming place for all people, regardless of ethnicity, race, national origin, gender identity, religion or birthplace.
