RIU receives and processes all requests for Minneapolis Police Department data in accordance with department policy and Minnesota Data Practices law under Minnesota State Statute 13.82.
Public information terminals are available for use in our front lobby during our normal business hours.

RIU Technicians will advise of charges before porcessing requests for printed or copied materials.
- All requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis.
- It is not necessary to identify yourself when making a request for public data.
