Copies of the Official Report

When you successfully submit your online police report, the Case Number is displayed on final screen labeled "Online Police Report". Case numbers begin with ‘MP-’ or ‘UM-’. Make note of this number for future reference.

A copy of the Police Report is automatically sent to the email address provided in the report. If no email address has was entered and you need to have a copy for you records, please contact the MPD Records Unit for instructions on how to obtain a copy. Have the case number handy when contacting the Records Unit.

It can take up to 24-hours for your online report to be processed, so allow at least one business day before contacting the MPD Records Unit for a copy of your report.
