City of Minneapolis General Retention Schedules and Indexes

The General Retention Schedule has been created to provide departments with uniform guidelines for the definition, retention and disposition of common records found throughout the City. A retention schedule is a document that lists records that are created and received by the City and identifies the length of time a record must be retained prior to its final disposition.
