Minneapolis Housing Services is an extension of an existing project with increased emphasis in assisting residents impacted by the economy, primarily foreclosure and related housing services (utilities, repairs, general tenants rights and responsibilities). Stable housing secures job retention. Two Housing Service Advocates provide critical crisis housing advice and referrals to an average of 1000 Minneapolis residents a month. The advocates assist residents to stabilize urgent housing needs and positively impacts the heath and welfare of the community.
