Regulatory Services 2017 Profiles

Profile Webpage Picture

2017 Citywide, Ward, and Neighborhood Profiles

Regulatory Services has created profile reports that provide residents with information related to our department, as well as demographic data (detailed demographic datasets can be found here from MN Compass).  Demographic data includes information such as age of housing units, educational attainment, ethnicity, household income, race and more to understand conditions in the city and contextualize this department's work. This department's data includes rental license information, land use, housing vacancy, nuisance conditions, and more.  Work from our department can help to better understand trends related to housing conditions and types of housing, traffic conditions along with compliance in parking rules, where and what animals live in this city, as well as other similar trends.

These reports will be updated on an annual basis and the latest profiles reflect data from the beginning of 2017. Neighborhood-level data can also be found in the interactive map below.  Instructions to using the map can be found here as well as in the map itself. The 2016 reports can be found here. If you have questions please contact our Business Process & Data Analysts Quinn Carr by email or by phone at 612-673-3689, or Glen Haslerud by email or by phone at 612-673-2942.
