Dehumidifier	This item collected on recycling week only. Limit of 2 large items per recycling week. Place next to the garbage cart on the recycling day. Please post a sign or write on the item "For Solid Waste". Item will be picked up on next business day after recycling day.	Large Item	Donate

Deodorant Cans: Aerosol-pressurized	Do NOT place in the garbage cart. This item NOT collected by Solid Waste & Recycling or accepted at the South Transfer Station. Disposal with garbage is prohibited. Items marked Caution, Caustic, Corrosive, Danger, Flammable, Poison, Volatile, or Warning should be considered a hazardous waste product and proper disposal is required. Do NOT place in garbage. Diapers	Bag and place inside the garbage cart.
Diesel Fuel	Do NOT place in the garbage cart. This item NOT collected by Solid Waste & Recycling or accepted at the South Transfer Station. Disposal with garbage is prohibited. Items marked Caution, Caustic, Corrosive, Danger, Flammable, Poison, Volatile, or Warning should be considered a hazardous waste product and proper disposal is required. Do NOT place in garbage. Dirt	Do NOT place in the garbage cart, recycling bin, yard waste bags or next to the cart. This item is NOT collected by Solid Waste & Recycling or accepted at the South Transfer. Discs-Floppy	Bag and place inside the garbage cart. Reuse by erasing the files and reusing the disk. Check the Yellow Pages under "Compact Discs, Tapes, Records - Retail", check if a nearby store will sell for reuse.		Donate

Drink Boxes	Bag and place inside the garbage cart. We do not accept drink boxes in the recycling program. Market prices have dropped and the small volume of milk cartons and drink boxes does not justify a whole bin on the recycling trucks. When Minneapolis collected milk cartons and drink boxes, they were less than 1/2 of one percent of the recyclables we collected.
Driveway Sealer	Do NOT place in the garbage cart. This item NOT collected by Solid Waste & Recycling or accepted at the South Transfer Station. Disposal with garbage is prohibited. Items marked Caution, Caustic, Corrosive, Danger, Flammable, Poison, Volatile, or Warning should be considered a hazardous waste product and proper disposal is required. Do NOT place in garbage. Drums/Pails	Try to reuse or check with neighbors, family, friends, or sell at a yard sale. Metal Drums are collect only on the recycling week. Drums must be open and empty. Place next to the garbage cart on the recycling day. Please post a sign or write on the item "For Solid Waste". Limit of 2 large items per recycling week. Item will be picked up on next business day after recycling day. Plastic Drums/Pails: Place next to the garbage cart on garbage day. Drums/pails must be open and empty. Dry Boxboard, Office Paper and Mail	Dry Food Box-Board: Dry food boxes such as cake mix, cereal, cookie, cracker, hamburger helper, Jell-O, macaroni & cheese, pasta, potato chip, pretzel, pudding, rice, tea boxes etc… Remove and throw away plastic bags. Flatten dry food boxes and place in paper bags. Include with office paper. Frozen or refrigerated food boxes are not accepted. Office Paper and Mail: Office paper, mail, envelops, manila folders, notebook paper, Post-It Notes®. Place in paper bags. Include with boxboard.
Dry Food Boxes	Dry food boxes such as cake mix, cereal, cookie, cracker, hamburger helper, Jell-O, macaroni & cheese, pasta, potato chip, pretzel, pudding, rice, tea boxes, etc. Remove and throw away plastic bags. Flatten dry food boxes and place in paper bags. Include with office paper. Frozen or refrigerated food boxes will not be accepted.
Dry Ice	Do not dispose of with garbage. Wear protective gloves. Place outside to melt.
Dryer: Gas or Electric	This item collected on recycling week only. Limit of 2 large items per recycling week. Place next to the garbage cart on the recycling day. Please post a sign or write on the item "For Solid Waste". Item will be picked up on next business day after recycling day.	Large Item	Donate
