If you are unable to participate in the organics recycling collection or drop-off program, bag this item and place it in your garbage cart.
Polystyrene (styrofoam) egg cartons are not compostable and should be placed in the garbage cart.
Many electronic cigarette manufacturers have started recycling and/or exchange programs for their products. Contact the manufacturer for more information.
Note that electronic cigarettes contain batteries that should be recycled. The section of the electronic cigarette that contains the battery can be placed in a plastic bag and then set on top of your one sort-cart for recycling, or it can also be brought to one of Hennepin County's HHW & Recycling Drop-Off Facilities.

NOT collected by Solid Waste & Recycling. Disposal with garbage prohibited. Engines from automobile, moped, motorcycle, truck, snowmobiles, etc… Check the Yellow Pages under "scrap metals", "auto wreckers" or "used parts".

Do NOT place in the garbage cart. Not collected or accepted by Solid Waste & Recycling or with a voucher at the South Transfer Station. Disposal with garbage is prohibited. Call your local police precinct or 911 for proper disposal. If you find an item that may be an explosive, do not move it--call 911.
If unable to donate, bag and place inside the garbage bag.
