The City of Minneapolis has prepared a guide to starting a local food business in the city. It has been produced for use by local food entrepreneurs interested in using the funding and technical assistance available through the Homegrown Small Business Fund.

The City has launched a new web and mobile platform called the Minneapolis Business Portal. Designed to give local entrepreneurs and small business owners all of the information needed to plan, launch and grow businesses in Minneapolis, the site offers:
