Green Zones Workgroup Meetings & Focus Groups
The Green Zones Workgroup was established by City Council Resolution in February 2016 and charged with drafting recommendations for Green Zone designation criteria; goals and metrics tracking progress within each designation; and strategies aimed at improving health and supporting economic development. The Workgroup included 19 members: nine City and agency staff, and ten community representatives (residents, business owners, non-profit organizations, subject-matter experts and representatives from the Public Health Advisory Committee and Community Environmental Advisory Commission). The Workgroup met monthly from April 2016 through March 2017. The next section includes the agendas and meeting minutes from all 12 Workgroup meetings. Go to the main Green Zones webpage for more information about the Green Zones initiative.
