Minneapolis reports on community indicators through the City Goal Results Minneapolis program. On March 28th, 2014 the Minneapolis City Council adopted the City’s vision, values, goals, and strategic directions that will guide the City’s work for the next four years. City leaders set new goals every four years, resulting in clear priorities that provide long-term direction and clarify the core function of City government. Visit City Goal Results to learn more about community indicators related to environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
The City will release initial City Goal Results between December 2015 and January 2018. As Minneapolis transitions to the Results Minneapolis performance management tool, indicators such as greenhouse gas emissions, air quality, garbage & recycling, and access to parks and green space will become available in 2017.
Minneapolis is also a member of the Clean Energy Partnership, which will track eight metrics in 2016 related to the buildings and energy strategies identified in the Climate Action Plan for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Visit the CEP website to learn more.
