Nokomis Library is now Closed for Renovation; Roosevelt Library open more hours.

The Nokomis Library closed on September 12, to begin a renovation that will take approximately 1 year. If you are a Nokomis patron looking for a new library, consider East Lake, Roosevelt, Southdale and Washburn. In response to concerns from residents, Council Member Colvin Roy and Commissioner McLaughlin have secured additional hours for Roosevelt Library while Nokomis Library is closed. Roosevelt Library will be open 10-6 on Wednesdays starting September 16th and will provide morning hours during the week for seniors and school groups and additional afternoon hours to support students.
