Youth Farm and Market Project Veggie Shares
Where: St. Olaf Community Campus Mini Market
When: Thursday, August 9, 2012
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Youth Farms Veggies Shared a way that you and your family can get 8 weeks of affordable, organic and fresh produce while supporting the youth of our neighborhood.
Youth Farms mission growing food to develop youth. We develop youth leadership and build neighborhood connectedness through the planting, growing, selling and cooking of food.
Veggies are harvested every Wednesday, and will be available to pick up at St. Olaf Community Center by 3pm. If your child attends youth farm, you can pick your veggies share at the end of the day on Wednesday, or have your child(ren) bring the veggies share home with them.
Your Farm and Market offer two sizes:
Small Share: $5/week (about a plastic grocery bag of veggies)
Large Share: $10/week (about 1 large paper grocery bag of veggies)
Each bag will contain what is seasonally available for harvest.
*Financial assistance and EBT is available
Pick Up Time & Location
Veggie Share are distributed every Wednesday for 8 weeks starting June 20th.
June 20th, June 27th, July 11th, July 18th, July 25th, August 1st, & August 8th.
