PERMIT FEE CHANGES – EFFECTIVE May 1, 2018
This is our notice regarding the annual rate increase to the Director’s Fee Schedule. The increase is authorized by Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, Section 91.70.
This year’s adjustment of 2% will be effective May 1, 2018 and is reflected in the fees as printed on fee schedules that are available on our web site at: (2018 Director's Fee Schedule)
Also on our web site you will find up-to-date permit application forms. Old application forms will no longer be accepted. If you do not have access to the internet you may obtain a copy by calling Minneapolis 311, if outside the Minneapolis city limits call (612) 673-3000. These fees will be applied to permit applications post marked or faxed after April 30, 2018.
*** Effective May 1, 2018, Development Review Customer Service Center will no longer accept out of date permit applications (building, plumbing, mechanical, soil erosion, wrecking, elevator, street use, RBA). Any submittal on an out of date permit application will be mailed back to the applicant with a copy of the current application. All current applications are found on the service center webpage (see below):
