No parking ever

Area No parking details
Driveways No parking within 5 feet, measured from where the curb meets the driveway. 
Alley entryways No parking within 5 feet.
Fire hydrants No parking within 10 feet.
Crosswalks No parking within 20 feet.
Intersections No parking within 20 feet, unless there is a sign or parking meter.
Stop signs No parking within 30 feet, unless there is a sign or parking meter.
Traffic lights No parking within 30 feet, unless there is a sign or parking meter.
Railroad crossings No parking within 50 feet, measured from the closest rail. 
Sidewalks No parking, temporary stops or idling.

No parking sometimes

Area Parking rules
School zones No parking in posted zones during posted hours. 
Bridges A few bridges in Minneapolis have meters on them. You can park on bridges with meters. Parking is not allowed on all other bridges.
Commercial vehicles in residential neighborhoods No parking unless the vehicle is loading, unloading or providing a service.
Overweight vehicles in residential neighborhoods No parking for vehicles over 10,000 pounds unless the vehicle is loading, unloading or providing a service.

Churches may make special arrangements for funerals by contacting Traffic Control.
