- Protect racial diversity
- Uplift the cultural identity of Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) communities and People of Color immigrants
- Invest in and assist areas devastated by racial discrimination practices
Preventing displacement
Cultural districts are a tool for rehabilitating buildings, houses, and spaces. By doing this, we create stability and increase affordability in the area.
Fueling business and job development
Cultural districts support economic activity that helps an area:
- Become an inclusive place to live
- Visit and do business
- Create new economic opportunities and jobs for residents
