Government structure

The City now has an “Executive Mayor – Legislative Council” system of government.


Mayor Frey presented his recommended executive government structure proposal to City Council. His proposed structure features four direct reports to the Mayor:

  • Chief Administrative Officer
  • City Attorney
  • Chief Community Safety Officer
  • Chief of Staff
