Large item collection

You can set out some large items for collection on your pickup day or bring them to a drop-off location.

Yard waste returning to weekly service Oct. 3

Beginning Monday, October 3, yard waste pickup will return to weekly collection for all customers. The yard waste season will end on Friday, December 2. Your garbage day during the week of Nov. 28 – Dec. 2 will be the last pickup of leaves, brush, and other yard trimmings. There will be no additional service after your last scheduled pickup.

What to know

As part of your City garbage collection, crews will take up to two large items each week.

  • Large items must be out by 6 a.m. on your pickup day.
  • Attach a note to each item that says "For Solid Waste." If items are not marked, we may not collect them.

If large items have recyclable parts, set them out on your recycling day.

  2. We'll come back the next business day to pick them up.
    • Our large item collection crews are currently behind schedule. Please leave your items at the curb or alley line until they are picked up.
