Overview

A green zone is a group of neighborhoods with:

  • High levels of pollution
  • Racial, political and economic marginalization

Minneapolis has two green zones:

  • Northside Green Zone
  • Southside Green Zone

We work with residents to achieve environmental justice by:

  • Addressing environmental issues
  • Energizing the economy
