The 38th Street THRIVE Strategic Development Plan is completed and signed by the Mayor.  It lays out the community's wishes for economic vibrancy, creative identity, affordability, resilience, and partnership.

Community Engagement

• We encouraged all community members to be part of engagement events in 2024.
• Some events included discussion on community priorities for the Peoples' Way.
• We included the community's priorities in a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to choose a community owner. The RFQ is a way for the City to ask interested group to apply to the City to become the future community owner.
• We issued the RFQ in November 2024. The City and community members are discussing who will be the future property owner.
