We built the Holland Basin in the early 2000’s as a flood relief basin for Northeast Minneapolis. It is east of Thomas Edison High School in the Edison Green Campus. It serves as a space for runoff water to fill instead of flooding homes or school buildings nearby. It also provides open space for the Holland neighborhood.
