Whittier North East area ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades and resurfacing

The City will upgrade pedestrian ramps to ADA standards in 2024. The City will replace the pavement surface in 2025.

This project is part of the ongoing street maintenance program.

ADA pedestrian ramp upgrades

The City will upgrade pedestrian ramps to current Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards.  This work to start in 2024. 

Resurfacing

City staff will resurface the streets in this area in 2025.  We replace the top layer of asphalt pavement to extend the life of a street.  The new pavement should last at least 10 years.
