Traffic and crosswalk signal issue

You can report broken traffic and crosswalk signals, signals that are too long or too short, or signals that skip a turn.

What to do

If a traffic signal or crosswalk signal is damaged or not working

  • If the traffic signal has no power, call 911.
  • If it does have power, report the issue.
  • You must provide an email address.
  • We'll send you an email with a case number and expected completion date.

If a traffic signal or crosswalk signal is impossible to get through or is delayed

  • Report the issue.
  • You must provide an email address.
  • We'll send you an email with a case number and expected completion date. 
  • Traffic & Parking Services will look into the issue and decide if they need to adjust the timing.
  • Note that emergency vehicles have the ability to change traffic signals. A bright white light flashes above the signal when a police car or ambulance changes a signal.
