When you report property as stolen or lost, the Police Department looks for matches at:
- Minneapolis pawnshops
- Pawnshops in some suburban and outlying cities
What to do
Contact your police precinct's Property Crimes Unit:
- To see if your lost or stolen items were pawned
- To update your police report with more details, such as
- Serial numbers
- Model numbers
- Descriptions
