Overview

The City purchased the Peoples’ Way property at 3744 Chicago Ave. in June 2023.

We have been working with the community to shape a long-term, community-centered vision for the site.

New proposals under review

In September 2026, the City issued a new request for qualifications (RFQ) to find a development partner for the property.

The City received proposals from two applicants, which are now being considered.
